0530 respects your privacy and handles personal data with care.
This privacy statement applies specifically to the 0530 mobile application, including the iPhone app, Apple Watch app, and associated features.
0530 is a daily performance platform that allows users to track, among other things, training, recovery, nutrition, hydration, routines, and personal performance.
This privacy statement explains which personal data may be processed through the 0530 App, why we process this data, how we protect it, and what rights you have.
The privacy statement for our online store and website is separate from this app-specific privacy statement.

3. What data may 0530 process?
Which data is actually processed depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant.
Account and profile data
When you create an account or personalize your profile, we may process data such as your name, email address, account ID, profile settings, personal preferences, performance and training preferences, and data needed to personalize your profile and experience.
Training and activity
When you use training features, the following may be processed, among other things: workouts, type of training, exercises, sets and repetitions, weight and training volume, training duration, training history, workout status, and heart rate and activity data when access has been granted.
Daily check-ins and performance
0530 may process information that you enter yourself during, for example, a Morning Check-in or Evening Check-out, including perceived sleep quality, recovery, energy, readiness/performance, daily load, personal reflections, and other answers that you voluntarily enter during a check-in.
This data is used to support your personal performance overview and relevant insights within the app.
Journal
When you use the journal feature, we process the content that you store there yourself. Journal data may be personal in nature. You decide what information you enter here.
Nutrition and hydration
When you use these features, the following may be processed, among other things: food products, meals, quantities and portions, calories, macronutrients and available micronutrients, fluid intake, hydration data, and nutrition and hydration goals.
When a drink as part of your nutrition tracking also counts toward your hydration, 0530 may combine this data to prevent duplicate tracking.
Health and fitness data via Apple Health
When you expressly consent to this, 0530 may request access via Apple HealthKit to specific health and fitness data needed for app features.
Depending on the feature used and the permission granted, this may include activity, workouts, heart rate, sleep, and other supported health or fitness data.
0530 only requests access to data categories that are necessary for the relevant functionality.
Apple HealthKit uses separate consent for each data type. You decide which data 0530 can access and can change or withdraw this access through Apple at any time.
Apple Watch
When you use the 0530 Apple Watch app, workout and activity data may be processed between your Apple Watch and the 0530 app on your iPhone to enable features such as workouts, heart rate, workout status, and workout tracking.
Cycle data
0530 offers optional functionality for recording and estimating the menstrual cycle. When you consciously activate this feature, data such as cycle settings, menstruation dates, cycle length, recorded daily cycle information, and a cycle phase estimated by the app may be processed.
This feature is optional. Cycle and other health data may constitute special categories of personal data under the GDPR and therefore receive additional protection. 0530 presents an estimated cycle phase as an estimate, not a medical determination.
4. What do we use your data for?
We process personal data solely for legitimate and predefined purposes, including providing and operating the 0530 App, creating and managing your account, synchronizing your data between supported devices, recording and displaying workouts, calculating and displaying personal performance and recovery data, tracking nutrition and hydration, providing daily check-ins and check-outs, offering journaling functionality, personalizing features based on your chosen profile settings, offering optional cycle functionality, securing and technically maintaining the app, resolving technical issues, and carrying out functions you request.
5. Health data and consent
Health data receives additional protection under the GDPR. Processing special categories of personal data requires an additional legal basis, for which explicit consent is one possible basis.
Where required, we therefore ask for your explicit consent before such data is processed for the relevant function. You are not required to use optional health features.
Disabling an optional feature does not automatically mean that data already stored will be deleted. Where the app offers a separate deletion function for this purpose, you can use it to delete the relevant history.
6. Apple HealthKit
0530 uses data from Apple HealthKit solely for health, fitness, and performance functionality offered directly to you.
Data originating from Apple HealthKit is not used for advertising, ad targeting, or marketing.
We do not sell HealthKit data to advertisers, data brokers, or other parties.
Apple prohibits the use of data obtained through HealthKit for advertising, marketing, and similar data-mining purposes. We do not share information obtained through HealthKit with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
You can manage HealthKit permissions through Apple's privacy and health settings.
7. Automated insights and performance calculations
0530 may combine performance data provided by you and available to us to generate personal scores, trends, insights, or recommendations. These results are intended to give you insight into your daily performance, training, recovery, nutrition, and routines.
They do not constitute a medical diagnosis and do not replace professional medical advice. Therefore, a low or high performance, recovery, or other score does not automatically mean that a medical condition is present.
8. AI functionality
Certain features of 0530 may use automated systems to generate information, insights, or coaching within the app.
When AI functionality processes personal data, we limit the information used to what is necessary for the functionality concerned and apply appropriate privacy and security measures. 0530 does not use health data for advertising profiling.
9. Who can data be shared with?
We do not sell your personal data.
To operate 0530, we may use technical service providers that process data on our behalf, for example for hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, security, technical services, error diagnosis, and other infrastructure necessary for the app to function.
Where a service provider acts as a processor on behalf of 0530, appropriate arrangements are made regarding the processing and protection of personal data. Data is not shared with third parties for their own advertising purposes when this conflicts with applicable law or the rules for health data.
10. Storage and security
0530 takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against, among other things, unauthorized access, loss, unwanted alteration, unlawful processing, and unauthorized disclosure.
Where possible, access to personal data is limited to systems and parties that need this information to provide the relevant service. However, no digital service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
Data that is part of your 0530 account may be retained for as long as your account is active and to the extent necessary to provide the relevant functionality.
When you delete your data or account, we delete or anonymize the relevant data to the extent technically and legally possible and required. Backups may continue to exist for a limited additional period before being automatically overwritten or deleted.
12. Exporting and deleting data
0530 offers features that allow users to manage certain personal data. Depending on the available functionality, you may be able to view your data, modify certain data, export data, disable cycle tracking, delete stored cycle history, and have your account deleted.
Disabling a feature and deleting historical data may be separate actions.
13. Your privacy rights
When the GDPR applies to the processing, depending on the situation you may have, among others, the right to access your personal data, have inaccurate personal data corrected, have personal data deleted, restrict processing, object to certain processing activities, transfer personal data, and withdraw previously given consent.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

14. Delete account
When you delete your 0530 account, the personal data linked to that account will be deleted or anonymized to the extent that we are no longer required to retain it.
Certain data may be retained for longer when necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or protect our rights.
15. International processing
Some technical service providers may process personal data outside the Netherlands or outside the European Economic Area.
When personal data is transferred to a country for which no applicable adequacy decision exists, we provide appropriate safeguards as required under the GDPR, for example by using applicable standard contractual clauses.
16. Children
0530 is not intended as a service for young children.
We do not knowingly collect children's personal data when applicable law requires consent from a parent or legal representative and that consent is absent. When we discover that such data has been collected without valid consent, we take appropriate measures.
17. No medical service
0530 is a performance, fitness, and lifestyle platform.
The app is not intended for diagnosing or treating conditions or replacing a doctor or other qualified healthcare provider. For medical complaints, questions, or decisions, contact a qualified healthcare provider.
18. Changes
We may amend this privacy statement when app features change, new data processing activities are added, our technical infrastructure changes, or laws or regulations change.
The most recent version is published on this page. The date on which the statement was last updated is shown at the top. In the event of significant changes, we may provide users with additional information where appropriate.
